Quality Inspector Location: Bletchley Salary: £15 per hour with room for negotiation for right candidate Job Type: Temp to perm Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing Quality Inspector Engineering experience with PC-DMIS would be advantageous. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, plans and tolerances. Identify, record and report non-conforming materials and products. Monitor production processes and carry out inspections at various stages of manufacture. Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain quality documentation and records. Investigate quality issues and work with production to identify appropriate corrective actions. Support the Quality Manager with the development and implementation of quality procedures and inspection processes. Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce defects. Provide guidance and feedback to production teams regarding quality requirements. Assist with quality KPIs, performance reporting and customer satisfaction monitoring. Ensure inspection activities comply with company procedures and required quality standards. About You We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. You should have: Experience in dimensional and visual inspection. Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Experience using precision measuring equipment. CMM experience. Aberlink experience is highly desirable. PC-DMIS experience would be an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production teams. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues. The ability to work independently and manage inspection priorities effectively. Why Apply?
