We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Quality Auditor to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained across production operations.

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, this role operates across weekdays and weekends on a two-week rota:

  • Week 1: 4 days on, 3 days off
  • Week 2: 3 days on, 4 days off

Salary up to £31,290

Permanent Days 12 Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out quality and food safety checks on production lines
  • Complete audits including GMP, CCP, allergen, traceability, and glass audits
  • Verify weights, temperatures, labels, barcodes, and metal detection checks
  • Support complaint investigations and product testing
  • Conduct swabbing, sampling, and calibration activities
  • Train production staff on SOPs and technical procedures
  • Record and follow up on non-conformances
  • Support audits, visits, and product trials where required

Requirements

  • Previous quality or technical experience within manufacturing, ideally food production
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality standards desirable
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours in a 24/7 operation

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Food Hygiene qualification essential
  • HACCP or Internal Auditor qualifications advantageous
