We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join a growing frozen food business in Luton. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administration background and previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of warehouse and transport activities, ensuring accurate data management and smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of company systems and records.
- Processing delivery notes, purchase orders, invoices, and stock documentation.
- Supporting warehouse and logistics operations with administrative tasks.
- Coordinating with drivers, warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitoring stock movements and assisting with inventory reporting.
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation.
- Managing emails, telephone enquiries, and general office administration.
- Ensuring all records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assisting management with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administration role within a logistics, warehouse, transport, or supply chain environment.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment is desirable.
