Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their growing sales team. This is a high-energy, target-driven role focused on generating new business through proactive cold calling, lead generation, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have strong telesales experience and a proven ability to win new customers. Cold calling is a key part of the role, with a minimum KPI of 80 outbound calls per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Generate and develop new business opportunities
- Carry out high-volume outbound cold calling (80+ calls per day KPI)
- Identify and qualify new sales leads
- Research new markets, trends, and potential customers
- Prepare and follow up on sales proposals and quotations
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services
- Negotiate with new and existing customers via phone and email
- Maximise opportunities from inbound and outbound enquiries
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update activity daily
- Produce reports on activity, pipeline, and performance
- Attend networking events and support business development activity
- Work collaboratively with internal teams
Requirements
- Previous experience in telesales or business development
- Strong cold calling and lead generation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email)
- Self-motivated with a strong hunter mentality
