Electician in Dunstable, Bedfordshire

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30 but some flexibility is needed.

Qualification required NVQ Level 3, 18th edition.

You must have clean UK driving licence and be over 25 years old due to insurance.

Most of work will be in London so you must be willing to travel there every day.

Pay can be negotiable depending in experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure that all installations are compliant with the latest electrical codes and regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on site to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently.
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Previous experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work is advantageous.
