We are looking for a proactive and organised Health & Safety Assistant / Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day management of health & safety, compliance, and administration across our projects and sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience and an interest in health & safety and HR support within a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00. Flexibility is essential, as working hours may vary depending on business and site requirements.

Salary

Pay dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining document control systems
  • Assisting with health & safety compliance and administration
  • Carrying out site audits and inspections
  • Coordinating onboarding and inductions for new operatives
  • Maintaining training records, certificates, and compliance documentation
  • Supporting accident and incident reporting procedures
  • Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and management
  • Assisting with HR-related administration and employee records
  • General office and compliance administration duties

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • Willingness to travel to sites when required
  • Experience within construction or health & safety administration is advantageous
