Class 1 Trunk

Flexistaff Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Dunstable . This is an excellent opportunity for professional and reliable drivers looking for consistent night shift work, with the potential to secure a permanent position directly with the company . The role involves trunking operations, making it ideal for drivers who prefer long-distance or depot-to-depot deliveries rather than multi-drop work. Key Responsibilities Carrying out Class 1 trunking deliveries during night shifts. Transporting goods safely and efficiently between designated locations. Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed on schedule. Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects. Completing relevant delivery paperwork and transport documentation. Complying with drivers' hours, tachograph regulations and road safety legislation. Maintaining a professional and responsible approach at all times. Requirements Minimum 2 years of HGV Class 1 driving experience . Valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence. No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. ADR qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Previous trunking experience is desirable. Good knowledge of UK road transport regulations. Reliable, punctual and comfortable working night shifts. What We Offer Competitive pay rate of £20.50 per hour. Monday to Friday working schedule. Night shift starts between 17:00 and 19:00.
