We are continuing to expand our printing department to meet ever‑growing demand and are in need of Printer’s Assistants.

What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Supporting the printer.
  • Working between manual and semi‑automatic machines, including 4‑colour stack presses and an 8‑colour CI press.
  • Monitoring inks and consumables to ensure smooth operation.
  • Identifying tasks to support the printer maximise uptime.
  • Optimising changeovers while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Mounting print plates as needed.
  • Following lean manufacturing practices, including SMED and 5S principles.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment by addressing spills immediately and promoting safety.
  • Conducting shift handovers to ensure smooth production transitions, including briefing the next shift where needed.

A Few Things About You

  • Ideally, you have experience in printing but this is not necessary as full training will be provided to the right person.
  • High attention to detail and meticulous approach.
  • Able to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.

  • Excellent time‑keeping and attendance.

Working Hours

2‑week rotating shift pattern. 1 week of days Monday to Thursday then 1 week of nights Tuesday to Friday. Days: 06:45 – 19:00 Nights: 18:45 – 07:00.
