- Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Operating both manual and semi-automatic machines, including 4-colour stack presses and an 8-colour CI press
- Monitoring machinery output to meet and exceed production targets
- Identifying and resolving print issues
- Conducting shift handovers to ensure smooth production transitions, including briefing the next shift and checking machinery
- Optimising changeovers while maintaining health, safety, and quality standards
- Mounting print plates and colour matching as needed
- Following lean manufacturing practices, including SMED and 5S principles
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment by addressing spills immediately and promoting safety
- A Few Things About You
- Ideally, you have experience in print
- NVQ in Print (desirable but not essential)
- High attention to detail and meticulous approach
- Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent time-keeping and attendance
- Working Hours
- Average of 38.5 hours per week
- Continental shifts, Monday to Friday, covering both days and nights
- 44 hours a week
- Monday to Thursday 06.45am 19.00pm and Tuesday to Friday 18.45pm to 07.00am. 2 week rotation.
