As we continue our next phase of growth, we’re looking for an experienced Audience Engagement Manager to take ownership of how we connect with our audiences through email marketing, events, and campaigns.

The Role

  • Marketing Strategy & Delivery: Lead the execution of the marketing strategy, translating business objectives into activity that drives customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • People Management & Development: Line-manage and develop members of the marketing team, providing clear direction, regular feedback, and support to build a high-performing, collaborative team.
  • Website Ownership & Performance: Take full ownership of the Fleximize website, ensuring content is accurate, on-brand, SEO-optimised, conversion-focused, and continuously improved. Work with internal teams and external agencies to deliver enhancements and updates.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention: Plan and deliver marketing activity that attracts new customers and nurtures existing ones, using performance data and audience insight to optimise the full customer lifecycle.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation: Own and optimise CRM and marketing automation activity, supporting segmentation, lifecycle communications, and personalised campaigns that improve engagement and retention.
  • Email Marketing & Campaign Management: Own and deliver email marketing campaigns end-to-end, including planning, segmentation, content, scheduling, and performance optimisation.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring spend is allocated effectively, delivers value for money, and supports priority campaigns and business goals.
  • Campaign Planning & Delivery: Oversee integrated marketing campaigns from briefing through to delivery and evaluation, ensuring deadlines, quality, and ROI are met.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Track and report on key metrics including website performance, campaign results, acquisition costs, engagement, and retention.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, CRM, content, and customer teams to ensure consistent messaging, joined-up journeys, and clear commercial impact.
  • Agency & Supplier Management: Manage relationships with agencies and suppliers, ensuring high-quality output, clear expectations, and strong performance against objectives.
  • Event Management: Plan and deliver a programme of high-quality events, managing end-to-end delivery, budgets, suppliers, and performance to drive engagement, lead generation, and commercial impact.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role
  • Demonstrable experience managing and developing people
  • Strong experience owning and optimising a website
  • Hands-on experience managing marketing budgets
  • Solid knowledge of CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience managing email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, segmentation, and performance optimisation
  • A clear understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with performance data
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • A proactive, organised mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
  • Experience planning and delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns, including combinations of digital, paid media, content, email, events, video, and social.
  • Comfortable managing multimedia campaigns from concept through to delivery, working with internal teams, agencies, and external suppliers.
  • Experience briefing and overseeing creative assets such as video, motion graphics, and campaign visuals.
  • Strong understanding of attribution, performance measurement, and optimisation across complex campaign activity.
  • Experience launching or re-launching products, services, or major marketing initiatives.
  • Background in B2B, financial services, or regulated industries.
  • Experience scaling marketing activity in a growing or fast-moving business.

The interview process involves three stages:

  • Face-to-face interview (45 mins – 1 hour)
