At Fleximize, we've lent over £550 million to small businesses across the UK, won a ton of awards, and helped thousands of business owners fulfil their ambitions - but we're just getting started. Our mission is to make life better for business owners with flexible funding, unrivalled customer support, and so much more. As we kick off our next growth phase, we're looking for a Broker Admin Assistant to provide essential administrative support to the broker team, primarily assisting Key Account Directors (KADs), while helping the wider team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role includes requesting documents for existing applications, supporting the wider broker team with their portfolio of brokers and assisting with the onboarding of new introducers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities are carried out in line with internal policies, regulatory standards, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all customer applications and documentation, ensuring full audit trails are in place.
  • Escalate any risks, issues, or compliance concerns to senior team members where appropriate.
  • Proactively engage with new and existing introducers through outbound and inbound communication channels.
  • Build strong relationships with introducers by understanding the needs of their clients, maintaining regular contact, and providing a high level of service.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring introducers and customers feel supported throughout their journey with the business.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell offers with the introducer network by reviewing company and director credit files, supporting documentation and communicating this to the introducer and/or the broker team.
  • Act as an initial point of contact for introducers, providing information, answering queries, and ensuring they understand the next steps in their journey.
  • Provide the broker team with clear and accurate information and communicating correspondence from the introducer.
  • Work closely with the broker team, to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Provide clear and accurate information when setting up callbacks and speaking to the introducer network.

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage introducers in a professional and friendly manner. They will have the ability to quickly understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and effectively communicate these with the broker team. They will be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups simultaneously. A proactive and motivated approach is essential, with a focus on clear communication, professionalism and an understanding of the introducers' clients and supporting the wider team in achieving targets.

In return you'll get:

  • A competitive salary: we’re committed to equal pay and professional development, so we review salaries annually. We also offer a company-wide pension scheme.
  • Generous holiday entitlement: we offer 25 days holiday entitlement, with the added flexibility to buy and sell annual leave days. You get your birthday off too!
  • Professional development: career advancement is as important to us as it is to you. We offer training courses and qualifications to develop your skills and knowledge. Taking time to attend webinars and in-person seminars that can help you in your role is also encouraged.
  • Healthcare benefits: all team members get private healthcare as standard, which can even be extended to cover your family. We also offer company death-in-service insurance.
  • Perks & discounts: everyone gets access to exclusive discount codes and offers on thousands of high-street and online stores.
  • Free breakfast every day: our kitchen is filled with fresh fruit, cereals, and other goodies to start your day right.
  • Team socials: regular team outings give us all a chance to have fun and relax, whether it’s an escape room, theme park, football match, or evening at the local restaurant.

Please note: This is an in-house role based in Ipswich. Applicants must already be residing in the UK and have the right to work in the UK, as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship.
