We are recruiting on behalf of a leading renewables company looking for a qualified electrician with experience in Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV charging technology. If you’re already working with renewable systems and want to take your skills further, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company focused on high-quality installations and long-term career development. We are also open to applications from experienced domestic or commercial electricians who are eager to transition into renewables. Full training will be provided to the right candidate to help develop the necessary skills in Air Source Heat Pumps and associated technologies.
Key Duties
- Install and maintain a variety of renewable technologies, including Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging, and Air Source Heat Pumps
- Carry out electrical installations on domestic and commercial sites
- Complete testing, inspection, and fault finding to ensure safe and compliant installations
- Work closely with engineers to integrate electrical components into heating and energy systems
- Provide professional handovers to customers, explaining installations clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with industry regulations
Requirements
- Experience in Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV charging is highly desirable
- Alternatively, an experienced domestic electrician looking to transition into renewables
- Level 3/City & Guilds 2365 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition & 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Confident in dealing with clients and handing over completed projects
