Our client is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting goods across designated routes, ensuring the security and integrity of products in transit.
- Completing all necessary paperwork and following assigned delivery schedules and routes accurately.
- Conducting daily checks and logging any vehicle defects, reporting issues to management promptly.
- Adhering strictly to drivers hours, tachograph regulations, and company policies.
- Wearing the correct PPE at all times and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the vehicle.
- Offering professional and courteous service to all customers, addressing queries where needed.
- Coordinating with managers and team members to report any delivery or route issues.
- Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and compliant with company standards.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo when required.
- Acting as an ambassador for the company, always ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
- Good understanding of drivers hours laws and tachograph regulations.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organisational and time- management skills.
- Must be willing to tramp Monday to Friday.
- Curtain Sider experience (preferred).
- 2 years\β Class 1 experience preferred but not essential.
- Stable work history without frequent job changes.
- Pension Scheme contribution.
