About the Role
Youll be joining a busy, upmarket hotel kitchen that serves high-quality, locally inspired dishes to a loyal customer base of holidaymakers, food lovers, and event guests. As a Chef, youll take ownership of your work, delivering consistency, creativity, and precision to every plate whether its for a wedding banquet, weekend lunch, or evening service.

This long-established coastal hotel on the Gower Peninsula is known for its laid-back luxury, award-winning hospitality, and exceptional food. The team prides itself on creating unforgettable guest experiences, from intimate dinners to large celebrations with the kitchen at the heart of it all. They believe in using seasonal produce, fostering teamwork, and maintaining high standards without burnout.

Working Hours

  • 5 days on, 2 days off

  • 4045 hours per week

  • Staff meals provided

  • Consistent, fair rota planning
    Please note: due to the location, youll need to drive and have your own transport (no public transport access)

Key Duties

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standard

  • Support with menu development and seasonal specials

  • Maintain high food hygiene and safety standards at all times

  • Assist in training and guiding junior kitchen staff

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a similar chef role

  • Relevant professional culinary qualifications

  • Calm, reliable, and confident under pressure

  • Must drive and have own vehicle due to location
