The Opportunity
A well-established and growing property maintenance company is looking for an experienced Bathroom Fitter to join its team, carrying out planned bathroom refurbishments across Hampshire.
The company specialises in plumbing and heating services and works closely with housing associations and local authorities, delivering high-quality maintenance and refurbishment work in customers' homes.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who is looking to move away from construction sites and enjoy consistent Monday–Friday hours, a local working patch and long-term career development.
Importantly, the company is also committed to developing its people, with support towards gaining Gas Safe qualifications and the opportunity to build your plumbing and heating skills.
The Role
You'll be responsible for carrying out bathroom installations and refurbishments from start to finish, ensuring every job is completed to a high standard.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Stripping out and preparing bathrooms for refurbishment
- Installing baths, showers, sinks, toilets and other sanitaryware
- Completing plumbing and copper pipework
- Installing bathroom panelling
- Sealing, finishing and completing snagging
- Identifying and resolving issues during installations
- Working safely and efficiently in customers' homes
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Completing jobs to a consistently high standard
- Communicating professionally with customers and the wider team
This is a customer-facing role working in occupied properties, so you'll need to be comfortable representing the company professionally while working in customers' homes. xgikmsk
