Good operators aren't struggling to find chefs at the moment. They're struggling to find Sous Chefs who make kitchens better. We're looking for the chefs who make kitchens better. The ones who adapt quickly and raise standards, support their teams and make a positive contribution to every busy service.

We're recruiting for immediate starts across Scotland, including Edinburgh, Perthshire, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire. Opportunities range from short-term cover to ongoing assignments, and we're always working on permanent placements, with live-in accommodation available in many roles.

Who We're Looking For

You will already be an established Sous Chef, or a strong chef operating comfortably at that level. We're interested in chefs who are:

  • Reliable, professional and well-presented
  • Calm under pressure and organised during service
  • Strong communicators who work well with kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Adaptable in new environments
  • Confident leading sections, services and junior staff
  • Committed to high standards of food safety, hygiene and workplace compliance
  • Fully up to date with relevant training and certification
  • Focused on improving standards, team morale and kitchen performance

Technical ability matters, but attitude matters just as much. The best temporary senior chefs understand that they're often stepping into a team that needs stability, leadership and support as much as another pair of hands.

What We Offer
