Flexible Workforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading foodservice organisation for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the Scotland East territory. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-profile portfolio of customers while driving new business growth in a competitive and dynamic sector.
The role offers a blend of 60% account management and 40% new business development, ideal for a motivated and commercially minded sales professional with a passion for food and service excellence.
Responsibilities- Manage, retain, and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts across the Scotland East region.
- Build strong, long-term relationships and act as a trusted partner to customers.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within your territory.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Procurement, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Prepare and present proposals, performance updates, and regular reporting to senior management.
- Provide accurate forecasting and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Complete weekly and monthly updates on client activity and outcomes.
- Plan and manage a structured journey plan to ensure consistent and effective customer visits.
- Minimum 3 years' field sales experience within the foodservice industry.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality and catering sector (hotels, restaurants, B&I).
- Previous experience as a chef is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine passion for food and delivering exceptional service.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/ Excel, CRM and other client/sales management platforms.
