Flexible Workforce Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join a vibrant and well-regarded city centre restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and reliable chef who thrives in a high-quality, flavour-driven kitchen.

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Sous Chef who is:

  • Professional, presentable, and confident - this role involves significant front-of-house visibility.
  • Well-mannered and collaborative, able to slot into a close-knit and supportive team.
  • Passionate about producing fresh, vibrant, relaxed yet elegant dishes.
  • Focused on flavour, consistency, and quality.
  • Experienced in leading a kitchen during service and supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality dishes with a strong emphasis on fresh ingredients and bold flavours.
  • Support menu development and contribute creative ideas.
  • Lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate junior team members.
  • Work collaboratively with both back- and front-of-house teams.
