Specialist Support Workers

£ £12.59 per hour

Sleep Over - £60 per night (Working 1 Sleep Over each week can equate to earning an extra £3K a year)

We have two Supported Living schemes in Prudhoe supporting adults with severe and complex disabilities, learning disabilities and mental health. We will soon be opening a new Scheme within the same service and we are looking for experienced staff that can support a gentleman who has learning disabilities , so the prime candidate will be someone who can deal with challenging behaviour such as Pica and severe autism.

Full-time working available with an immediate start (subject to satisfactory references and DBS). Weekdays and weekends available. Drivers preferred but not essential.

Duties include:

· Independent Living skills; Support with personal care, shopping and meal preparation.

· Facilitating Community Participation and Access.

· Dealing with medication

· Managing finances and Record-keeping

· Reporting any concerns
