Responsibilities

  • Create and execute sales plans for your assigned territory, aligning them with overall company goals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by persuading customers within your territory to purchase Flexco products and services.
  • Maintain solid working relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and promptly resolving any complaints.
  • Monitor competitor activity within your territory and stay informed about industry trends that may impact Flexco's products and services.
  • Ensure that brand awareness within your assigned territory meets company expectations.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Identify opportunities, promote and develop sales of Flexco products to both end-users and distributor partners within defined territory.
  • Provide advice and backup on engineering applications and solutions to technical problems.
  • Attend trade shows.
  • Work within the company's quality assurance and health and safety systems.

Qualifications

  • Have a minimum 5 years of extensive outside sales experience in selling industrial products, with specific experience related to industries using lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belt.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Windows Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations and end user/distributor training – both onsite and in a PowerPoint/classroom environment.
  • Willing and able to travel as agreed in contract of employment.
  • Willing and able to commit to overnight stays with travel.
  • Can work in environments requiring moderate physical effort; field visits, field training, and hands-on support of products at customer sites across a wide variety of industries.
