Role: Quality Manager Location: Holmes Chapel Salary:Upto £52k plus benefits Background Information This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking high-tech company who are growing rapidly. The Group have established a production facility for the manufacture of lead tabs, as well as an R&D centre of excellence and materials distribution hub. The work environment is dynamic, and the incumbent team are passionate about their work and the company vision. The company has recently been certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards and are working towards IATF 16949. We are looking for a knowledgeable and talented quality professional who can roll out a suite of already predefined processes, as well as define and implement new IATF 16949 processes. The individual will work across the Group, incorporating their skillset across a company involved in distribution, manufacturing and R&D. In addition, the company plans to introduce a suite of LEAN tools and techniques which will support the evolution of the business. The business is also working on digitalisation and aim to implement a new ERP system within the next 12 months. Specific Skills/Experience. A minimum of 10 years experience working in a Quality capacity in a manufacturing environment with IATF certification. Ideally from a scientific or an engineering background you will have a minimum of HNC in a relevant subject.Formal 6 sigma and LEAN training would be an advantage. In depth understanding of IATF 16949, process definition and standard compliance is critical. Producing all necessary business process documents, procedures, work instructions and forms. A trained auditor with experience of internal and external auditing and critical analysis of business processes. Extensive experience in using corequalitytools and methodologies and is able to apply root cause analysis in problem solving in a technical environment. Skilful in customer facing experiences. You will be highly responsive, articulate and objective in your approach to resolving customer related challenges. Expertise in reviewing product specific quality standards and having a capability to translate them into practical application within a business environment. Generic Knowledge/Experience. Experience working with SMEs and understands the importance of being an all-rounder (Essential) Problem solving attitude and a strong attention to detail (Essential) Self-starter who can work independently (Essential) Proficient use of general IT programs such as excel, word, outlook (Essential) Good understanding of MRP/ERP/SAP data interrogation.
