Warrington & Mobile North West / North Wales
Flexible / Zero Hours Contract | Potential for 2 Regular Days per Week | Competitive Hourly Rate DOE
The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected specialist within the vehicle adaptations and mobility sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, personable individual looking for flexible, part-time work, with the potential for more regular hours if preferred.
The role will primarily operate on an appointment-by-appointment basis. However, for someone looking for greater consistency, there may also be the opportunity to work two regular days per week, subject to agreement. This could be particularly well suited to someone with previous experience in the motor trade, automotive sales, vehicle adaptations or a technical customer-facing role who may have retired or stepped back from full-time employment but would still like to put their knowledge and experience to good use. Full product training will be provided.
The Role
As a Product Demonstrator, you will meet customers and demonstrate a range of specialist vehicle adaptations and mobility equipment, explaining clearly how the products work and helping customers understand which solutions may best suit their individual needs. Demonstrations will take place either at the company’s premises in Warrington or at pre-arranged customer appointments across the North West and North Wales. Where travel to a customer is required, this will be undertaken in a company vehicle fitted with the appropriate adaptations and demonstration equipment. All appointments are arranged in advance, so you will be given sufficient notice and can plan the work around your availability.
How the Role Works
We understand that different people are looking for different levels of commitment. For someone wanting maximum flexibility, work can be offered on an appointment-by-appointment basis, with no requirement to accept every appointment offered. Alternatively, for someone who would prefer more consistency, there is the potential for two regular working days each week, while still retaining the part-time nature of the position. This makes the opportunity suitable both for someone wanting occasional flexible work and someone looking for a more consistent part-time arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrating vehicle adaptations and mobility products in a clear, professional and friendly manner
- Explaining product features and benefits to customers from a wide range of backgrounds
- Helping customers understand the options available and make informed decisions
- Communicating technical information in an easy-to-understand and accessible way
- Providing an excellent customer experience throughout each demonstration
- Representing the company professionally when visiting customers
- Providing feedback on customer requirements, questions and enquiries to the wider team
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and comfortable dealing with customers face-to-face. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within the motor trade, automotive sales, vehicle adaptations or a related technical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to explain technical products to a non-technical audience
- A patient, understanding and customer-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence
- The flexibility to travel to customer appointments across the North West and North Wales
- A reliable, professional and self-motivated approach
Previous experience within the mobility, care or disability sector would be advantageous but isn’t essential. More importantly, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes genuine satisfaction from helping customers find practical solutions that can improve their independence and everyday lives.

- Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
- Flexible, part-time working
- Potential for two regular days per week for someone seeking greater consistency
