We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, high-tech manufacturing business based in Holmes Chapel, who are looking to add a Production Operator to their operations team. This is a hands-on role within a production and warehouse environment, ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being part of a performance-driven team.
The Role:
- You will support day-to-day production activities, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently, orders are completed to specification, and quality and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery in line with job cards and specifications
- Supporting production output in line with operational KPIs (OEE, scrap, delivery performance)
- Maintaining health, safety and environmental standards (PPE, LOTO, near-miss reporting)
- Completing accurate production data and ensuring full batch traceability
- Supporting warehouse and logistics activities, including FLT operation (where trained)
- Adhering to standard operating procedures and quality systems
- Contributing to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
- Working closely with production, logistics and operations teams
About You:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Comfortable operating machinery and following detailed procedures
- Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
- A proactive, team-focused approach with good communication skills
