Role: Accounts Assistant Location: Adlington Office (SK10) Salary: £25k + benefits Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting our Accounts department. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a friendly and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you’ll assist the Accounts team with day-to-day processes, including sales and purchase ledger management, account reconciliation, and expense claims using SAGE accounting software. Your responsibilities will include: Verifying purchase invoices for accuracy, ensuring alignment with orders and goods received. Posting purchase invoices to the SAGE system and resolving discrepancies with suppliers or order originators. Reconciling and checking monthly expense claims, ensuring VAT compliance and receipt accuracy. Reconciling and monitoring visa card payments, chasing receipts and invoices for VAT purposes. Monitoring budgets, identifying and reporting significant over or underspend. Supporting the Finance Manager with chasing overdue sales invoices.
