Stockport | £45,000–£55,000 + Bonus
We are working with an established and successful B2B finance business in Stockport to recruit a Marketing Manager to take full ownership of its marketing activity.
This is a standalone, hands-on marketing role offering genuine autonomy and the opportunity to shape how an established SME approaches marketing.
Working directly with the directors and alongside the sales team, you'll be responsible for developing the marketing plan and, importantly, making it happen.
The role is deliberately broad, covering digital marketing, traditional media, content, video, events, sales collateral and communications.
You won't be expected to be an expert in every discipline. The business is happy to invest in external agencies and specialist third parties where appropriate. What we're looking for is someone who can see the bigger picture, identify what needs doing and take responsibility for getting it delivered.
The Role
You'll take ownership of marketing across the business, from strategy and planning through to hands-on delivery.
- Developing and owning the company's marketing plan and budget.
- Planning and delivering campaigns to increase brand awareness, generate opportunities and support business growth.
- Managing digital activity across the website, social media, email and other relevant channels.
- Creating and coordinating engaging content for both digital and traditional marketing.
- Developing high-quality sales brochures, presentations, case studies and other collateral.
- Managing press, PR and traditional advertising opportunities.
- Developing video content and coordinating external production where required.
- Planning and supporting exhibitions, events and other face-to-face marketing activity.
- Working closely with the sales team to develop campaigns and materials that support business development.
- Ensuring consistency of brand, messaging and tone of voice across the business.
- Measuring marketing performance and using the results to continually improve activity and investment. xgikmsk
- Selecting, briefing and managing external agencies, freelancers and specialist suppliers where appropriate.
