Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well-known client based in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering include TVs, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods, etc. Due to the weight of the products you are delivering, you MUST be physically fit.
The company offers the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, and you will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam, followed by an induction day.
The company operates 7 days a week, and you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved. There are two rotas available at the moment: one is Tuesday to Saturday and the other is Sunday to Thursday.
Shift timings are 06:00 start, with shifts lasting roughly 8-10 hours. Pay rate is £17.15 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay), with an overtime rate of £22.
