Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known, multi-national client based in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company offering long-term work, stability, and potential career progression.
The Role-
You will work alongside a Drivers Mate, delivering large items to residential properties. Products include:
- Flat-pack furniture
- Gym equipment
- White goods
- Beds and Sofas
This is a physically demanding role and candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
Please be aware that the company offers a "room of choice" delivery service. Full training will be provided to ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.
Working Hours & Shift Patterns -
- The operation runs 7 days a week
- You will be offered 5 shifts per week on a rotating rota
- Weekend work is required - you will be expected to work Saturday or Sunday each week
- Start time: 06:00
- Shift length: approximately 8–11 hours
Assessments & Training-
Successful applicants will xgikmsk be required to:
- Pass a driving assessment
- Complete a multiple-choice Highway Code and tacho test
- Attend mandatory induction days (following the assessment)
Requirements -
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (7.5t)
- Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence
