Flexible People Ltd are looking for experienced multidrop van drivers to work for a prestigious company of ours, based in Chessington.
The client are a well-established catering and hospitality supplier, who supply all over London and the South of England, to restaurants, bars and other similar businesses.
The role of the van driver would be to deliver medium weight goods to customers in a professional and polite manner. You will leave from the site, in Chessington, in the morning and set off to complete your routes – These should be completed within an 8 hour day. As well as being a professional and courteous driver, we are looking for someone who will build good relationships and a rapport with customers.
The right candidate must –
Have experience as a van driver (In London or an equivalently busy city)
Be able to speak and understand English
Be able to follow instructions and directions
Be polite, well-mannered and professional when dealing with customers
Have no more than 6 points on your license, with no DD, DI or NI convictions
Must be able to attend an interview in Chessington
Must be able to easily commute to Chessington
Please note that this is a full time, ongoing contract with the option to be taken on permanently at the end of a probation period.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, starting at 7am – 8am for 8-10 hours per day.
The pay rate is £13.00 per hour.
