Transport Supervisor

Flexible People are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Planning and Supervisor to oversee the transport operations at one of our prestigious clients based in Droitwich. This role will focus on ensuring timely and efficient distribution of cleaning products to their customers, coordinating with drivers, warehouse staff, and suppliers, and optimizing delivery routes. The successful candidate will also supervise a team of transport staff, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards while maintaining high levels of service quality. This is Monday to Friday with the times being 10.00am-19.00pm. The rate of pay for this position is £14.42 Key Responsibilities: Transport Planning: Plan and organize daily transport schedules for the timely distribution of cleaning products from the warehouse to clients. Coordinate and optimize delivery routes to ensure cost-effectiveness and on-time deliveries while considering warehouse stock levels, traffic conditions, and customer delivery windows. Ensure the transport team is briefed and aware of their delivery targets, with contingency plans for any potential delays.
