Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Class 2 drivers for multidrop deliveries of frozen and chilled foods to customer premises. This is a physically demanding role and is best suited for Class 2 drivers who are comfortable with manual handling and working in cold conditions. The rate of pay is 20ph (inclusive of holiday pay). For the 6th shift, the rate of pay is 21.83ph. The company operates 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved.
The Role
- The Class 2 driver will complete multidrop deliveries of frozen and chilled food products.
- Significant handball involved, including moving full pallets into customer premises.
- Working in freezer and chilled environments.
- Early starts and physically intensive shifts.
This role requires a good level of fitness and a strong work ethic.
Training & Onboarding
- Successful Class 2 candidates will complete one week of in-store training.
- Followed by buddying with an experienced driver for several days to ensure full competency.
- Uniform will be provided after completion of the initial 13-week probation period.
- Candidates must provide their own suitable cold-weather clothing during probation.
Important – Interview & Assessment Process
- Interviews/assessments are unpaid.
- Each interview can last up to 3 hours and it will include:
- Driving assessment.
- Face-to-face interview.
- Written test (mainly CPC-based questions).

- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
- CPC and tachograph card.
- Comfortable with heavy manual handling.
- Willing to work in frozen and chilled environments.
- Appropriate PPE for interview/assessment day.

- Steel toe-cap footwear.
