Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable 3.5T Van Drivers to join our client's busy delivery operation in and around Greenford. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a 3.5T Van Driver who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working as part of a professional team.
Location: Greenford
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting between 5:00 am and 6:00 am – No Weekends
The Role
As a 3.5T Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing approximately 40–50 multi-drop deliveries per day to hospitality and business customers across Greenford and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5T van to complete daily multi-drop deliveries.
- Load your vehicle each morning, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care.
- Deliver orders to hospitality and business customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
- Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, reporting any defects promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and within agreed timescales.
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of the area and the surrounding areas.
- To be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- A reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach.
- A smart and professional appearance.
