Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Van Drivers – Mossend to work for a well-established client based in Mossend. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and reliable Van Driver to join a busy delivery operation, delivering large items to residential customers.
The role will primarily involve van driving and customer deliveries, with drivers potentially also being required to work as a Drivers Mate alongside experienced 7.5t lorry drivers when required. We are looking for candidates who are confident driving, physically fit, reliable and comfortable dealing directly with customers. There may also be opportunities for additional work as a Drivers Mate depending on operational requirements.
The Role
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of large items to residential properties, including:
- Flat-pack furniture
- Gym equipment
- White goods
- Other large household items
The role involves both driving and manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required. You may also have the opportunity to work as a Drivers Mate alongside a 7.5t lorry driver. This could involve assisting with deliveries, heavy lifting, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
