Flexible People Ltd are recruiting for a 7.5t Home Delivery Driver to join a well-known client based in Croydon.

This is an opportunity to join a successful multinational organisation offering long-term work, career progression, and earning potential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver large household goods to residential properties alongside a Drivers Mate.
  • Handle items including TVs, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods and other bulky products.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items; operate in a safe and professional manner.
  • Support the client’s room of choice delivery service and participate in training to carry out deliveries safely.
  • Complete driving assessments and a multiple-choice Highway Code and tachograph test, followed by a mandatory induction before starting.
  • Work a weekly rota of five or six shifts, with shifts typically starting at 6:00am and lasting 8–10 hours; weekend work is required.
  • A drug and alcohol test may be carried out at any time at the client’s discretion; a drug test will also be completed during the assessment process.

Requirements

  • A valid UK 7.5t (Category C1) driving licence.
  • A valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • No more than 6 penalty points.
  • No DD, DR, or IN driving convictions.
  • Ideal Candidate
  • Reliable, punctual, and well organised.
  • A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy goods throughout the day.
  • In possession of steel toe cap safety boots and a high-visibility vest.
