Experienced Multidrop Van Driver required in Chessington. Flexible People Ltd are looking for experienced multidrop van drivers to work for one of our prestigious clients, a well-established catering and hospitality supplier, supplying customers across London and the South of England.
The Role:
As a multidrop van driver, you will be responsible for delivering medium-weight goods to customers in a professional, polite and efficient manner. The van driver will leave from the client's site in Chessington each morning and set off to complete their allocated delivery routes, generally within an 8-hour driving day.
We are looking for an experienced van driver who is confident driving in London or an equally busy city and understands the importance of providing excellent customer service. You will be dealing directly with customers, so you should be polite, well-mannered and professional at all times. Building good relationships and a strong rapport with customers is an important part of the van driver role.
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 7am - 8am
- Approximately 8 - 10 hours per day
- £14.00 per hour
- Full-time, ongoing contract
- Opportunity to become permanent following a successful probation period
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a van driver, preferably in London or an equivalently busy city
- Experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle for a minimum of 2 years
- Over the age of 21
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
- No DD, DR or NI convictions
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Able to follow instructions and directions
- Polite, well-mannered and professional when dealing with customers
- Able to attend an interview in Chessington
- Able to easily commute
