Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known, multi-national client based in Eastleigh, Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company offering long-term work, stability, and potential career progression.

The Role

You will work alongside a Drivers Mate, delivering large items to residential properties. Products include:

  • Flat-pack furniture
  • Gym equipment
  • White goods

This is a physically demanding role, and candidates must be fit and comfortable with heavy lifting. The company offers a room of choice delivery service. Full training will be provided to ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

Working Hours & Shifts

The operation runs 7 days a week with 56 shifts per week on a rotating rota. Weekend work is required. Start time: 06:00. Shift length: approximately 8-11 hours.

Assessments & Training

Successful applicants will be required to:

  • Pass a driving assessment
  • Complete a multiple-choice Highway Code and tacho test
  • Attend a mandatory induction day (following the assessment)

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (7.5t)
  • Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Have no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Have no DD, DR, or IN endorsements
  • Be able to reliably commute to Eastleigh / Southampton
  • Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply

Please note that drug tests can be carried out at any time, at the client's discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment.

  • Reliable, punctual, and well organised

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy goods
