Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home delivery drivers for a well-known client of ours, based in Greenford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TVs, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc. Due to the weight of the products you are delivering, you MUST be physically fit. The company offers the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, and you will be fully trained on how to do this.
Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day. The company operates 7 days a week, and you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved. Shift timings are 06.00 start, and shifts last roughly 8-10 hours.
Pay rate - £18.90 per hour. There is an overtime rate of £22.19 per hour (applicable after 48 hours in the working week). After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full-time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits including:

Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers. Please note that drug tests can be carried out at any time, at the client's discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment. You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, with no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
