Flexible People Ltd are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work for a well-known client based in Droitwich. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reach Truck licence, as the role will also involve some Reach Truck operation when required. This is a contracted position running from September 2026 to March 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and hardworking Warehouse Supervisor to join our prestigious client, a company specialising in the distribution of a wide selection of varied office supplies. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring operations are carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will oversee general warehouse activities, coordinate the movement of stock and deliveries, support the warehouse team and help ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and on time.

You will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of the warehouse, including booking in incoming and outgoing deliveries, pallet management, stock control, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting the smooth running of the wider warehouse operation. The successful candidate will also be expected to lead by example, ensuring warehouse procedures are followed, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and supporting colleagues with day-to-day tasks where required. Although the primary focus of this position is Warehouse Supervision, you will also be required to operate a Reach Truck as part of the role when necessary.

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Duties Will Include:

  • Supervising and supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse
  • Coordinating and overseeing general warehouse activities
  • Managing the movement and organisation of stock within the warehouse
  • Booking in incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Overseeing pallet management and stock rotation
  • Supporting accurate picking and packing of customer orders
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring warehouse procedures and company standards are followed
  • Supporting and motivating the warehouse team to maintain productivity and high standards
  • Monitoring and maintaining good health and safety practices throughout the warehouse
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
  • Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or senior warehouse role
  • Good knowledge of general warehouse operations and procedures
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to supervise and support other members of the warehouse team
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A valid, in-date, accredited Reach Truck licence (essential)
  • Previous Reach Truck experience is preferred
  • The ability to carry out physical warehouse work, including heavy lifting
  • A professional appearance, with your own black or navy work trousers and T-shirt, high visibility vest and safety boots
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, as you will be representing the company
  • A valid National Insurance number
  • The ability to speak, read and write English to a good standard
  • Reliability and a willingness to work full-time hours
  • A strong understanding of the importance of attendance and timekeeping
