HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers Required in Milton Keynes for ongoing work with immediate starts. We are recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for various shift patterns, seven days a week. This is an excellent opportunity for HGV Class 1 C+E Drivers seeking regular work, competitive pay rates, and consistent hours.

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

  • Driving modern refrigerated HGV Class 1 vehicles.
  • Delivering chilled goods to retail stores.
  • Trunking between regional distribution centres.
  • Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Average shift length of approximately 10 hours.
  • Full-time and part-time shifts available across weekdays and weekends.

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:

  • Mon-Fri AM (03:30-12:00) £21.07 (inclusive of holiday)
  • Mon-Fri Afternoons (12:00-22:00) £22.43 (inclusive of holiday)
  • Mon-Fri Lates (22:00-03:30) £23.80 (inclusive of holiday)
  • Sat/Sun Days (04:00-12:00) £24.66 (inclusive of holiday)
  • Sat/Sun Nights (12:00-04:00) £28.58 (inclusive of holiday)

What We're Looking For:

  • A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
  • Held your Class 1 C+E licence for a minimum of 2 years.
  • A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
  • Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

HGV Class 1 Driver Assessment & Induction:

Before starting work, all Class 1 C+E Drivers will complete a paid on-site driving assessment (paid upon successful completion) and a paid two-day induction programme. Assessment and induction are paid at £21.07 per hour.
