Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Class 2 (C) Tipper Drivers for a large, well-established client operating within the aggregates and construction industry.

The Role

  • As a Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of aggregates and materials to construction sites and depots.

Key duties include:

  • Operating Class 2 tipper vehicles
  • Delivering and collecting aggregates to and from sites
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Adhering to road traffic laws and site health & safety procedures
  • Accurately completing all required paperwork

Working Hours & Shift Availability

  • Monday to Friday
  • Early starts, typical are 6am
  • Standard shift length: 8.75 hours
  • Drivers must attend all booked shifts in a week to qualify for the bonus

Pay & Bonus Structure

  • Flat rate: £16.82 per hour
  • Daily bonus: £35.00 per day
  • Payable provided the driver:
    • Attends all booked shifts offered that week
    • Works the full 8.75 hours per shift
  • Estimated hourly rate: £20.82 per hour (including bonus, when criteria are met)

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role, you must:
    • Hold a valid UK Class 2 (C) licence
    • Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
    • Have no more than 6 points on your licence
    • Have no DD, DR, or IN endorsements
    • Previous tipper or construction site experience is preferred but not essential

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability
  • Safety-conscious with a good understanding of site rules
  • Able to communicate effectively with transport teams and site staff
  • Comfortable working in a construction environment

Training & Induction

  • Full site induction and health & safety training provided
  • PPE requirements will be confirmed prior to starting
