Flexible People Ltd are urgently seeking experienced Van Drivers to join a reputable wholesale distribution company, based in Swanley.

This is a multi-drop delivery driver role delivering wholesale goods, such as cleaning products, to commercial clients. Your van will be pre-loaded by the warehouse team, and at each drop, youll be informed which products to hand-deliver. These will then need to be picked from the van and delivered where the client require. This is a physically demanding driving job, involving frequent manual handling and heavy lifting, so previous experience in courier or delivery driver roles is ideal. Some delivery routes will include long-distance driving, or driving into large cities such as London,so flexibility and endurance are key.

This role is Monday to Friday, 05.00-06.00 starts. Shifts are 9-11 hours long.

Pay rate of £13.15 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

– Multi-drop van deliveries to business customers

– Unloading and handballing products at each stop

– Following planned routes and delivery schedules

– Providing a high level of customer service

– Completing electronic paperwork before starting work

Requirements:

– Previous van driving, delivery driver, or courier experience preferred

– Physically fit must be comfortable with lifting and moving goods

– Fluent in English both spoken and written

– Excellent customer service and communication skills

– Must have your own: smart black/navy work trousers, t-shirt, hi-vis vest, and safety boots

– Must have a valid National Insurance number

– Must be able to complete electronic onboarding paperwork
