Flexible People Ltd are currently looking for reliable and professional Van Drivers to work with one of our valued clients based in the Edinburgh area. The role involves delivering wholesale cleaning products and stationery supplies to hospitality venues such as hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars across the region. There will also be deliveries to establishments such as serviced offices, libraries etc. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, meeting people and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
The pay rate is £13 per hour.
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday
- Start times: 08.00am
- Average shift length: 8 to 10 hours long
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5T van to complete daily multi-drop deliveries
- Load the van in the morning, ensuring goods are secured and handled with care
- Deliver to hospitality venues in a professional and timely manner
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures
- Provide excellent customer service on every drop
- Ensure vehicle is kept clean and report any defects or issues
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Smart appearance is essential
- Ensuring orders are delivered safely and within set timescales
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery preferred
- Good knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
The right candidate will be:
- Reliable and organized
- Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
- Fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
- Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
- You must have a valid UK License, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
