Job Description Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Night Drivers to join a prestigious client of ours, based in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Night Driver to secure full-time, ongoing work with guaranteed hours, delivering essential products to a variety of commercial locations across the region.
Pay Rate £23.66 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)Working Pattern Full-time positionAny 5 nights out of 7Weekend availability is essentialNight driving shiftsStart times available at:18:0019:0020:0021:00The Role As a Class 2 Night Driver , you will be responsible for completing multi-drop cage deliveries to a range of commercial locations, ensuring customers receive the products and supplies required to support their day-to-day operations. The Class 2 Night Driver role will involve delivering to a wide range of commercial customers, with delivery locations including: Retail and hospitality venuesAirports and transport hubsCommercial premisesFood and beverage outletsOther customer sitesProducts delivered may include: Food and beverage suppliesDairy productsPackaging and disposable itemsCleaning and hygiene productsCatering equipment and operational consumablesOther business-critical suppliesThe vehicle will be pre-loaded before your shift. However, the Class 2 Night Driver will be responsible for: Unloading cages at delivery pointsPlacing stock in designated drop-off areasCollecting and returning empty cagesCompleting deliveries safely and professionallyProviding excellent customer service at customer locationsRequirements To be considered for this Class 2 Night Driver position, applicants must have: Minimum 18 months' Class 2 driving experienceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph cardValid Class 2 (Category C) licenceNo more than 6 penalty points on your licenceNo IN, DD or DR convictionsPhysically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling, cage work and unloading deliveries at multiple locationsGood understanding of driver regulations and road safetyReliable, professional and customer-focused attitudeWilling to work any 5 days from 7Assessment & Training Process Successful Class 2 Night Driver applicants will be required to: Pass a theory testComplete a driving assessmentFollowing this, drivers will undertake: A full inductionA site tourA comprehensive training programmeA period of shadow shiftsThe complete onboarding process takes approximately 3 weeks. A DBS check will be required upon successful completion of training.
