Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Class 2 Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Rochester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV\’s, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.
Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.
The company offer the customer a \’room of choice\’ delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this.
Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day.
Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-11 hours. The shift pattern is any 5 days in 7, so you will be expected to work on a Saturday and very occasionally, on a Sunday.
Pay rate – £17.96 per hour. There is an overtime rate of £22.19 per hour (applicable after 48 hours in the working week).
After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits including-

Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers.
You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.

- Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
