Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our established client, based in Chessington. Please note - to be suitable for this role you will also need a full UK Driving license, as you may have to drive the Forklift across a road.
Our client is a respected name in the catering and hospitality supply industry, delivering high-quality equipment to restaurants, bars, and venues across London and the South of England.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver, your duties will include:
- Picking and packing catering and hospitality equipment
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- General warehouse duties
- Heavy lifting and manual handling
This is a hands-on role suited to someone physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Have previous warehouse experience
- Hold a valid forklift license
- Hold a full UK driving license
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Be able to speak and understand English
- Be punctual, professional, and well-mannered
- Be able to follow instructions accurately
- Be available for an in-person interview in Chessington
- Be able to commute to Chessington easily
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
07:30 - 16:00 - Shifts are typically 8.5 hours per day
£14.00 per hour, paid on a weekly basis
Temp to perm position for the right person
This is a full-time, ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent after a successful probation period.
