7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver Eastleigh / Southampton £17.15 per hour (inclusive of holiday) | Overtime £22.97 per hour (After 48 hours) Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t Home Delivery Drivers for a well-known, multi-national client based in Eastleigh, Southampton . This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company offering long-term work, stability, and potential career progression. The Role You will work alongside a Drivers Mate , delivering large items to residential properties. Products include: Flat-pack furniture Gym equipment White goods This is a physically demanding role , and candidates must be fit and comfortable with heavy lifting. The company offers a room of choice delivery service . Full training will be provided to ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally. Working Hours & Shifts The operation runs 7 days a week 56 shifts per week on a rotating rota Weekend work is required Start time: 06:00 Shift length: approximately 811 hours Assessments & Training Successful applicants will be required to: Pass a driving assessment Complete a multiple-choice Highway Code and tacho test Attend a mandatory induction day (following the assessment) Requirements To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold a valid UK driving licence (7.5t) Have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Have no more than 6 points on your licence Have no DD, DR, or IN endorsements Be able to reliably commute to Eastleigh / Southampton Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply Please note that drug tests can be carried out at anytime, at the clients discretion. A drug test will also be carried out at assessment.
