Job Description
Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting 7.5t home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Hoddesdon.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities.
This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc.
Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit.
The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this.
Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day.
The client operate seven days a week, you will receive a weekly rota of 5-6 shifts a week.WEEKEND WORK IS INVOLVED AND WILL BE EXPECTED OF YOU! Please only apply if you can work weekends, as well as weekdays.
Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-11 hours.
Pay rate β Β£20.68 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay). There is an overtime rate of Β£22.19 per hour (applicable after 48 hours in the working week).
After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. Once you become a full time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award-winning range of benefits including-

Our client will happily accept newly qualified drivers.
You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.

- Reliable and organized
- Have good communication skills and a good level of customer service
- Be fit and healthy and able to lift heavy goods
- Have your own steel toe cap safety boots and a high vis vest
