The predicted salary is between 13.45 - 13.45 £ per hour.

We are looking for a qualified or unqualified Childcare Practitioner to join our team across Aberdeenshire. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to families with children who have Additional Support Needs (ASN). You will work directly with children with ASN, providing engaging activities that meet their individual needs and planning activities within the local community.

Salary: between £13.45 per hour and £13.79 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in childcare, including experience of working with children and young people with Additional Support Needs (ASN).

The Role: Successful candidates will be expected to provide high-quality care and support to families with children and/or young people who have ASN. You will work directly with children and young people with ASN, either within their family home or out in the community, supporting them in personal care, getting ready for school, providing engaging activities that meet their individual needs and planning activities within the local community.

Days and Hours of Work: Monday to Friday and/or weekends. The hours of work will be before/after school times and/or weekends; these can sometimes be unsociable hours.

The Setting: In person at the family home or out and about in the family’s local community; this may sometimes be in remote locations.
