The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We are looking for a qualified senior childcare practitioner to come and work in our Saturday club and holiday playschemes. The ideal candidates will have experience in working with children with Additional Support Needs.
Hours Of Work
- Term time – Saturdays 9.30am-3.30pm.
- School holidays – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9.30am-3.30pm.
- (Additional hours may be available throughout the year in other Aberdeenshire areas)

As well as interview you may be asked to undertake a short session in the setting prior to any offer of employment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high quality early learning and childcare for children; they will be expected to support the Service Manager and the existing team. They also will be expected to provide personal care, ensure paperwork is relevant and kept up to date, plan activities relevant to the interests of the child/young person, plan outings in the local community and liaise with families.
The Setting
Our Ellon group is for both primary and secondary aged children specifically with ASN and is part of the charity Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS). FCSS is a national charity that is unique in that parents are able to book childcare by the hour, pay as they go and change their bookings each week. This flexible childcare model helps save families money on their childcare while supporting them back into education and employment, helping to distance the whole family from poverty.
