The Flexi Group are looking for an Warehouse Op / FLT Driver for an immediate start in the Sandbach area

As a Warehouse Operative your role is crucial to the business, you will effectively store, pick and dispatch all goods from the clients warehouse to match the relevant paperwork. You will need a Reach truck licence and it would be advantageous to have a Counter Balance licence as well. You will work as part of the warehouse team and take on a variety of roles within the warehouse. These will consist of but not limited to receiving, checking and sorting the full range of materials that move in and out of the warehouse.

Position Responsibilities:

To ensure the warehouse runs efficiently and productively we expect all warehouse operatives to be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Receive, store and send goods out as per picking instructions.
  • Check incoming and outgoing goods for missing or damaged goods.
  • Store goods in the correct manner for the weight and height of the material.
  • Store goods in the correct locations.
  • Keep all areas within the warehouse internally and externally, clean and tidy.
  • Valid FLT Reach - Counter Balance would be beneficial
  • Fluent in English

  • A general education with Maths and English

  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team

  • Reliable

  • Honest

  • Awareness of health & safety

  • Ability to work quickly when needed

  • Ability to complete paperwork

  • FLT licences

  • Physically fit as there is some manual handling

  • Some warehousing experience.

  • Working in a fast paced environment.

  • Good attention for detail.

  • Self motivated to work hard and get the job done.

Pay rate: £14.57ph (including holiday pay)
