Flexera is hiring Senior UX Designer to help build and refine the future of Flexera One, Flexera’s SaaS product for IT Asset Management and Financial Operations (FinOps). This role will contribute to feature-agnostic Flexera One Platform capabilities and FinOps feature functionality.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with a full UX team (Research, Interaction, and Visual), Product Management, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to complete discovery, ideate on solutions, and iterate with stakeholders and users.
- You will lead design activities (research, ideation, iteration, specification, etc) and report on progress, blockers, and other concerns to a UX manager.
- You will speak with users to understand pain points, workflows, and validate early solutions to prioritized work. Where appropriate you will also seek out data to help make decisions.
- You will maintain Flexera’s standard for consistency and quality across projects and product areas.
- You will help break down complex problems into a solvable and deliverable scope of work.
- You will work closely with a team of UI engineers to ensure what is designed is what gets built.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Business or related field preferred
- Passionate about diving into complexity and delivering with continuous improvement
- A portfolio that shows relevant interaction design work (flows, wireframes, prototypes), rationale, and the results of the alignment you’ve created with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication in English, collaboration, and facilitation skills and a willingness to use them
- Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to manage workload across multiple projects
- Experience working with a cross-functional team of UX designers, product managers, and engineers on a B2B SaaS product
- Proficiency in Figma, Confluence, Jira, MS Teams
- Strong understanding of atomic design systems, why they’re used, and ability to think about your work through a design system lens
- A working familiarity with semantic HTML, CSS, and React-based UI component best practices
- 7+ years of interaction design experience
Desired:
- Familiarity with cloud, SaaS, and/or on premises IT asset management concepts
- Ability to plan and scope work that leads to meaningful customer value
- Experience with web and accessibility standards
- Masters in Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Business or related field preferred
